### Lesson Structure:
**1. Warm-Up (5 minutes)**
- **Greeting and Introduction:**
- Greet the students cheerfully.
- Briefly introduce the topic of the day: "Today, we're going to have fun singing some simple songs!"
- **Vocal Warm-Up:**
- Lead the students in some vocal warm-up exercises.

- Examples: "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," "Row, Row, Row Your Boat," or "The Wheels on the Bus."
- Show visual aids with song lyrics and corresponding pictures.
**3. Learning the Songs (7 minutes)**
- **First Listen:**
- Play or sing the song once while the children listen.
- **Teach the Song Line by Line:**
- Sing the first line and have the students repeat after you.
- Continue teaching line by line, incorporating hand gestures or simple motions to go along with the lyrics.
- Example for "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star":
- Teacher sings: "Twinkle, twinkle, little star,"
- Students repeat.
- Teacher adds hand gestures like opening and closing hands to mimic twinkling stars.
**4. Group Singing (10 minutes)**
- Sing the entire song together as a group several times.
- Encourage students to sing loudly and confidently.
- Optionally, use small percussion instruments (e.g., tambourines) to keep the rhythm.
**5. Song Games and Activities (5 minutes)**
- Play short, music-related games to reinforce learning.
- Example: Pass a ball or a plush toy around while singing a song. When the music stops, the student holding the toy gets to sing the next line solo.
- Dance and movements coordinated with the song can make it more engaging.
**6. Cool Down and Reflection (3 minutes)**
- Gather the students in a circle for a brief cool down.
- Discuss the activity and ask a few children what their favorite part of the song was.
- Sing a quiet, calming song together to wind down.
### Closure:
- Praise the students for their participation and enthusiasm.
- Distribute stickers or stamps as rewards for everyone’s great singing.
- Encourage students to practice the songs at home with their families.
### Assessment:
- Observe student participation and enthusiasm.
- Note any student demonstrating a particularly good sense of pitch or rhythm.
- Positive reinforcement and encouragement for all students.
By ensuring a mix of singing, movement, and games, students will not only learn simple songs but also develop an early appreciation for music in a joyful and supportive environment.
